My Approach

The Science & Soul of Coming Home to Yourself

Maybe you can’t quite name it. Just a persistent sense that something feels off inside— that somewhere between all the doing, the caring, and the keeping up, you lost touch with yourself.

You might be feeling lost, reactive, or quietly empty. Your life might look fine on the outside. But inside, something essential is missing.

If that resonates — you’re in the right place.

What’s Really Going On

Most people assume the problem is stress, anxiety, or not having the right habits. But underneath those symptoms, something more consistent is happening.

The real problem is a strained or underdeveloped relationship with yourself — showing up as:

  • A nervous system stuck in overdrive that won’t settle

  • A busy mind that won’t quiet

  • Disconnection from your own body, voice, and truth

  • Unconscious patterns running the show — even when you know better

  • A life that looks right on the outside but feels hollow on the inside

These aren’t character flaws. They’re symptoms of something deeper.

Why This Happens

We were never taught how to have a relationship with ourselves.

We were taught to perform, achieve, and care for others — but not how to stay connected to ourselves in the process. Culture teaches presence as productivity. Insight accumulates without ever becoming real change. Tools get collected without ever being truly integrated.

It’s not your fault. It’s a gap in what we were given.

What Becomes Possible

The goal isn’t to fix yourself. It’s to feel grounded, connected, and at home within yourself again. When you develop a grounded, integrated relationship with yourself, something shifts:

  • Calm — a steady inner ground you can return to, even when life is hard

  • Clarity — about who you are, what you need, and what matters most

  • Self-trust — the quiet confidence that comes from truly knowing yourself

  • Authentic expression — living, speaking, and creating from the inside out

  • Deeper relationships — because everything changes when your relationship with yourself changes

  • Sustainable inner peace — not as a destination, but as a capacity you grow

The 4 Keys to Inner Peace

A practical framework for building a healthier relationship with yourself.

Over years of personal practice, working with clients and researching the science and soul of coming whole to yourself, I’ve developed a structured path to help you grow this relationship with yourself.

Inner peace isn’t something we find. It’s something we build. I call it the 4 Keys to Inner Peace.

The 4 Keys are not steps to complete, they’re capacities to grow. Each one building on the last — integrating body, heart, mind, and soul into a life that finally feels like your own.

The 4 Keys

Body: Cultivating Calm & Clarity

Where everything begins.

You cannot access your inner wisdom from a nervous system stuck in survival mode. Self-regulation is the foundation — learning to calm your body, complete the stress cycle, and create the inner stillness that makes everything else possible.

This is where you stop reacting and start responding.

Heart: Nourishing Yourself From Within

Filling the void that nothing outside of you ever could.

Self-love isn’t bubble baths or affirmations. It’s the daily practice of treating yourself with the same compassion, understanding, and care you so freely give others. It’s learning that you are enough — not when you’ve achieved more, not when you’ve fixed yourself, but now, as you are.

This is where you learn to love yourself unconditionally.

Mind: Reconnecting With Your True Self

Beyond the roles, patterns, and conditioning that have kept you from yourself.

Self-discovery is understanding why you think, feel, and react the way you do — and finding the freedom that comes from that understanding. Through the Enneagram and other tools of self-inquiry, you begin to see your patterns clearly. And from that seeing, genuine choice becomes possible.

This is where you stop being run by your patterns and start choosing from your truth.

Soul: Living in Alignment With Your Deepest Self

Not performing a life. Living one.

Self-expression is the flowering of the first three keys. It’s the courage to live, speak, and create from alignment with your soul — to stop shapeshifting to meet everyone else’s expectations and begin inhabiting your own life fully.

This is where you come home to yourself.

The Practices That Support Change

Each key is lived through specific practices — chosen because they work at the level where real change happens:

  • MEDITATION

The foundation of self-regulation. Calming the nervous system and creating the inner stillness where self-knowledge becomes possible

  • MINDFULNESS

Developing the moment-to-moment awareness to catch your patterns before they catch you.

  • ENNEAGRAM

Understanding the personality patterns that have quietly shaped your relationship with yourself. The most direct path to self-compassion I know.

  • COACHING

The integration layer. Where insight becomes embodied, and understanding becomes lasting change

As a mindfulness life coach I have a lot of experience.

What Changes in You

People who walk this path don’t just feel better. They become more fully themselves.

  • Less reactive, more present

  • Clearer in their decisions, stronger in their boundaries

  • More compassionate toward themselves and others

  • Deeper and more authentic in their relationships

  • Aligned with what actually matters to them

  • At home within themselves — perhaps for the first time

That’s not a promise. That’s what I’ve watched happen — in my own life and in the lives of the people I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside.

What Clients Are Saying

Before working with Bev, I felt lost, stuck, and overwhelmed. Despite all the books and groups I tried, nothing helped me move forward. I struggled with anger, exhaustion, and a sense of unhappiness. Through Bev’s coaching, I’ve found a deep sense of peace, groundedness, and freedom. I’ve let go of trying to control others, built a mindfulness practice I love, and now smile more and feel lighter. The Enneagram gave me clarity and compassion for myself. Bev’s guidance gave me the tools, steps, and nudges I needed to move past procrastination and self-doubt. This journey has truly changed my life!

I was very unhappy and knew something was not right even though I felt thankful for many things in my life. Working with Bev was an unbelievable experience. I learnt so much about myself. The most important thing people should know is that besides being caring and so open to talk to…Bev helps you to unravel and truly find yourself. This experience changed my life. We often do not want to face what is bothering us- but our hearts know. If you feel and know something is not right in your life working with Bev will open your life to who you are truly meant to be.

I had gone through a personal development journey and had hit a wall with what I could achieve on my own. I needed someone to help me through the self-discovery journey and understand what I was missing. Bev helped me connect spiritually with myself through her meditation guidance. The Enneagram work has helped me connect some dots, in regards to myself and what I have been doing in my life to add to the suffering. I potentially never would have managed this alone. This work is still resonating and manifesting itself to me daily! Bev is incredibly insightful and has a beautiful manner in the way she works with people.

Liam H

I had recently separated from my husband and was struggling with my new identity and who I was without him. I was dealing with the uncertainty of this difficult situation and how to find peace and contentment in spite of the challenges I was facing. The concepts and tools I received in mindfulness coaching really aligned with what I believe to be true about healing. I have done talk therapy many times and it has not been a catalyst for transformation like this coaching was. I feel it creates changes at an energy level and has long-lasting effects that really address root issues.

Emily B

I had been in and out of psychotherapy for many years, and the pathologizing approach of searching for what was wrong with me and trying to find the ever-elusive answers just was not working. I was trying to change things within me from a place of shame. Bev’s capacity to truly see me and then offer new paradigms for me to see myself allowed me to let go of a lot of shame and fear that I have been carrying. This allowed me to embrace my dreams and develop a growth-oriented mentality towards my life.

Soon after meeting with Bev and starting my meditation practice, I began to feel calmer, less anxious and better equipped to express myself during uncomfortable and potentially confrontational situations. Bev provided me with the tools that allowed me to recognize when I was stress eating or even before I got to it. She taught me about self-compassion and I started to realize just how hard I was on myself. I also learned how to discuss things with my husband on a more mature level. I just feel SO MUCH BETTER.
